Additionally, A Type Testing Certificate Must Be Provided For All Kva Families Of The Required Dg Sets.1. Adhering To This, Recd To Be Type Tested For An Equivalent Kva Family Of Dg Sets As Per The System And Procedure Of Cpcb From Any One Of The Five Central Pollution Control Board, Govt, Of India, Recognized/approved Test Agencies/laboratories As Given Below: (a) Automotive Research Association Of India (arai, Pune)(b) International Centre For Automotive Testing (icat, Manesar)(c) Indian Institute Of Petroleum (iip, Dehradun)(d) Vehicle Research Development Establishment (vrde, Ahmednagar)(e) Indian Oil Corporation, Reasearch And Development Centre, Faridabad (haryana) 2. The Contractor Shall Demostrate Compliance Of The Recd Type Or Recd Family With The Provision Of The Regulation. Note:- Type Approval Certificate Shall Be Produced Before Installation Of The Recd For Equivalent Kva Family,, Recd Shall Have No Effect On Exhaust Back Presuure. The Back Pressure Shall Be Maintained Within Prescribed Limit By Manufacrere Of Recd. There Should Not Be Any Back Flow From Recd To Engine Exhaust System. Contractor Shall Furnish (as Obtained From Recd Manufacturers) Written Instructions And Requirements About Use And Maintenance Of Recd System, Its Correct Operation And Maintenance, And Its Emission Performance. General Technical Requirements (gtr) / Commissioning :- A) Emission Control Retrofit Device Shall Be Complete With Safety Precautions To Ensure No Damage Should Be Done To The Dg Set Operations Under Any Circumstances. The Emission Control Retrofit Device Should Be Closely Coupled With The Dg Exhaust To Ensure 100% Of The Exhaust Passes Through The Emission Control Retrofit Device.b) Anti-vibration Mountings Shall Be Provided For Complete Emission Control Retrofit Device In Case Of Flexible Coupling With The Diesel Generator Exhaust.c ) Emission Control Retrofit Device Should Have Protection Against Under Voltage, Over Voltage, Under Frequency, Over Frequency, Low Battery Voltage, Over Current, Earth-fault, Short Circuit, Phase Sequence Change Etc.d) The Emission Control Retrofit Device Shall Be With Corrosion Resistive And Hr Paint.e) Unloading And Placement Of The Emission Control Retrofit Device At The Time Of Delivery Is In The Scope Of Contractor. The Consignee Shall Ensure That The Site Is Located Along A Motorable Way.f) The Contractor Shall Provide The Trial Run (testing) Of Emission Control Retrofit Device. The Contractor Shall Conduct Trial Run Of The Emission Control Retrofit Device With The Available Electrical Load At Site. The Trial Run Shall Be For Two Hours. The Electrical Loading Shall Not Be More Than The Rated Capacity Of The Dg Set.g) Exhaust Piping, Supporting Structures, Any Other Civil Work And Distribution Board Shall Be Provided By The Contractorh) Travelling And Lodging Boarding Charges As Applicable For Supervisor From Manufacturer Side For Erection & Commisioning Of Device Shall Be In Contractors Scopei) Silencer And/or Any Old Items Removed/taken Out During The Work, Shall Be Handed Over In The Custody To The Department.j) The Site Shall Be Cleared By The Contractor After Completion Of The Work Without Any Extra Cost., Scope Of Installation :-a) Installation Of Emission Control Retrofit Device When Offered By The Vendor Is Inclusive In The Scope Of Supply And Shall Be Done By The Contractor. B) Construction Of Suitable Earthing Station (if Applicable) And Necessary Connections Shall Be Done By The Contractor.c) Any Minor Addition/alteration To Already Existing Hardstanding As Per Requirement Shall Be Deemed Inclusive In Quoted Rates.
